Women's Day

Today is Women's Day. I am wondering what the other 364 days of the year are. 
I am wondering why all the generations of women who have gone before this day bearing domestic duties, professional duties, community duties and exuding all the life enhancing, creative, nurturing attributes of simply being 'woman' can only be recognized in this 24 hour period and why we should feel gratitude for centuries of contribution to the evolution of life in being recognized on this day.
I will not display gratitude for that kind of recognition.  I will not accept this as my role.
My intersect in this multi-faceted grid of inter-dimensionality is to hold space. My purpose is to assist in the ushering in of the Shift which must occur, will occur and is occurring.  This is the Shift into Balance.  It is the merging of duality into Oneness.
What is my work here and the work of all the others -- both female and male?  It is in creating that openness to receive.  It is in focusing on the upliftment of all life -- human, animal, botanical.  It is in connecting with the sacredness of the gifts of Mother Earth. It  is in the connecting with sacredness within ourselves and-- like clay in our hands-- to fashion that connection in ways that manifest that upliftment.
It is not about being 'woman'.  It is about opening to the sacred feminine energy that is awakening all life.
